Celebrate Zimbabwean Independence Day and Easter with a braai filled with delicious food, music, and good vibes!
Come and join us for a day of celebration at Airfield Estate on Sun, Apr 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM. We'll be firing up the grill and enjoying some delicious braai (barbecue) in honor of Zimbabwe's Independence Day (since April 18th 1980).
Bring your friends and family along for a fun-filled day of music, a mini market with craft and food vendors, and of course, plenty of tasty food. Let's come together to commemorate this important day in Zimbabwe's history and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Airfield Estate. A beautiful 38 acre farm with gardens, farm animals and so much heritage.

“Vasikana" is a Shona word from Zimbabwe meaning "girls" or "young women." It symbolizes sisterhood, empowerment, and community, making it the perfect name for this special gathering. On March 8th we celebrated each other as women. We hosted an amazing raffle that featured amazing products from local women-owned brands. It was a beautiful way to mark the occasion.
Our Launch
Our Launch Event was a night of delicious contemporary Zimbabwean food and Southern African inspired drinks.
Zimbabwean Born, Chef Roland Mupotsa carefully curated a four stage menu that showcased the diverse and vibrant flavours and ingredients from Zimbabwe, accompanied by South African wine and artisanal cocktails.
The event to took us on a unique culinary journey to the region.
